The beginnings of Mon Chéri
Mon Chéri has been around since the 1950s and in the Federal Republic of Germany since 1957. In the first year after the market launch, 9,000 kilograms were produced daily, and in the second year it was 20,000 kilograms. In the early years, the chocolates were sold individually. In the 1980s, Mon Chéri was promoted by actors Paul Hubschmid , Thomas Fritsch and Nadja Tiller , as well as singer Gitte Hænning .
